‘Rosie Gainsborough is a freelance illustrator and animator. Originally from the West Midlands, she graduated from the University of Brighton in 2010 with a BA Hons in Illustration, and then moved to London where she now lives and works. She has worked for a range of editorial clients including The New York Times, The World of Interiors, Boneshaker, Oh Comely, Inc. zine and Popshot. Frankie Magazine, Poolga, and Way of Women have also featured her work online, and her giclee prints are available both via her website and the Big Draw campaign’s online shop. She is interested in exploring observation, everyday life, quiet moments and emotive atmosphere; as well as eating nice food, playing with her dog Bootleg, and obsessively watching dramas like Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Rosie is also part of Portmanteau, the creative collective behind pan-European art project Postcards from Europe, and is currently Development Intern at IdeasTap.’
