There are many overlooked aspects of our environment. Cities are planned to provide routes that are practical and efficient, digital maps provide only the quickest routes and many commercial signs and notices along the way seek to gather our attention. Serendipity has become difficult to come by. Using a crowd-sourced method, Kaylene Alder illustrated interesting and inconspicuous elements from four parts of London and mapped them onto the city. She drew her responses from twitter users from each of the four areas.
